Can we crash at your place?

The Wisconsin Humane Society needs foster parents, and becoming a foster parent at WHS is now easier than ever!

If you went through the old process (or tried to, but got frustrated and quit), you know that it could be a bit laborious and confusing at times. Knowing how incredibly important the foster program is to its mission, the WHS team dove in and reworked the entire process to make it as convenient and efficient as possible for you. The orientation is now online (no more waiting months for a scheduled meeting!), there's one simple form, and they've even created a private Facebook page exclusively for WHS foster parents to trade tips, network, and share photos of their latest critters. Though you're volunteering in the privacy of your own home, you're never alone with the community of experienced and wonderful foster parents only a click away!

If you want to sign up, all you have to do is watch the 15-minute orientation video, submit an online application, sign the paperwork, and pick up your first foster! There are currently "a ton of kittens in need of placement at the moment," along with many other animals. It's a short-term commitment with a long-term impact for animals who need us most.
