Bucks hosting job fair for new arena to fill 1,200 positions
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The new Bucks arena, officially called the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center for now, will hold a job fair on Wednesday, June 20 to hire 600 part-time positions for the new arena. The job fair will be held at the Wisconsin Center District located on Wells Street from 1 to 7 p.m.
The WESC will begin hiring in early July for positions in guest experience, retail, box office and security. Starting hourly wage is $12.50.
In addition to the 600 positions, the food and beverage provider of the new arena, Levy, will also be interviewing candidates for 600 positions. A total of 1,200 positions are up for grabs. Levy will be hiring hourly and managing positions, including concession workers, cooks and bartenders.
Candidates are encouraged to pre-register for the job fair at www.bucks.com/careers by June 13. They should bring a printed resume and expect to have a brief interview with a WESC representative. Candidates are asked not to bring along friends or family members to the job fair.
