Brown Deer Police arrest woman on bike with outstanding warrants

Brown Deer Police arrested a Milwaukee woman with outstanding warrants after she was stopped while riding a bike.

An officer conducted a field interrogation stop with two people riding bikes in the 8400 block of North 60th Street. While speaking with the subjects they fled north through the yards on their bicycles.

Police located the people in the 8600 block of West Brown Deer Road. A teen boy fled on foot over fences north from Brown Deer Road and the woman was taken into custody after resisting arrest.

After giving police a fake name, she was identified as an 18-year-old Milwaukee woman with an outstanding warrant with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.

The woman was cited in Brown Deer for riding a bike at night with no lights, obstruction, resisting arrest and prowling. She was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office.
