Brown Deer man's stolen car quickly recovered thanks to OnStar

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Brown Deer man's car was stolen early Sunday morning but thanks to an OnStar search, the car was quickly recovered.

Police say the 39-year-old man was letting his car warm up shortly before 7 a.m. in the 7700 block of N. Sherman Boulevard.

The man called the police to report that his 2015 Chevrolet Cruz was taken from his driveway.

The vehicle was entered as stolen and police were able to recover it an hour later in the 5600 block of N. 95th Street through an OnStar search.
