Racine County authorities are investigating a break-in at Manheim that happened around 3:30 AM Thursday morning. The dealership is located on 27th Street just north of 7 Mile Road in Caledonia.
By late morning four Milwaukee County teens were arrested. The Sheriff's Office says they tried stealing cars straight off the lot.
Officials say the teens rammed a car into the fence and crawled under the hole while they attempted to steal the cars. A total of 12 teens are suspects in the incident. Eight are still on the loose.
This is the second time Manheim has been broken into this year.
Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling says it's an ongoing problem in southeast Wisconsin, "What parent lets their 15 and 16-year-old out at 3:30 in the morning to steal vehicles? Ram the fence, crawl underneath the fence like a rat, and steal vehicles, and then let's make no mistake, when these vehicles have been stolen. They've left at high rates of speed, they've put people in harms way."
None of the cars were successfully stolen.
