Black Friday Snow Showers

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!  The mostly cloudy sky kept temperatures in check this afternoon, but thankfully the weather didn't create any travel issues across Wisconsin.

Take a look at the picture above.  A fast moving shortwave is tracking across the northern plains this afternoon.  This disturbance will continue to slide into the Badger state overnight.

The computer models weaken the snow showers as they move toward Wisconsin; however, we are expecting some light snow showers and flurries into Friday morning.  There's a chance for a quick dusting on grassy surfaces; however, we aren't expecting any issues on the roads.

Here's a shopping forecast for Black Friday.  I would wear the layers with strong northwest winds along with some flurries.  Temperatures throughout the day will likely climb into the upper 30s to near 40.
