Beer Garden to Open This Weekend in Whitnall Park

There will be a pop-up beer garden near Whitnall Park at the intersection of 92nd Street and West College Avenue this weekend.

 The “this-weekend-only” pop-up beer garden at Picnic Area #1 will be open Saturday and Sunday, from noon–6 p.m.

 Live music will be available both days from 1-4 p.m.

 Saturday, Joel Leal will perform folk and experimental acoustic rock.

Sunday, Heather Jean Maywood will perform a mix of contemporary country, folk, acoustic rock, and pop.

Twelve Sprecher tap beers and sodas will be on-tap at the Sprecher Fire Truck.

Beverages will be served in souvenir glass pints and steins, with refills offered at reduced prices. Souvenir glassware can be reused at any of the Traveling Beer Garden stops.

The official tour will run from May 17 through Sept. 4.
