Badgers get #2 seed, will start NCAA Tournament in Milwaukee

MADISON - The Badgers reward for one of their best seasons in recent memory is to begin their NCAA Tournament run close to home.

Wisconsin has received a number 2 seed in the South Region of the tournament, drawing a matchup Thursday with 15 seed American in the Round of 64 at the Milwaukee's BMO Harris Bradley Center.

If the Badgers win Thursday, they'll face either BYU or Oregon in the Round of 32 on Saturday, also at the BC.

Wisconsin (26-7) had a 16 game win streak to start the season and won 8 in a row during conference play. It's the Badgers' 16th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
