Badger fans heartbroken after loss to Notre Dame

CBS 58- A heartbreaking night for the Badgers, as they lose miss a chance at a third-straight Elite Eight.

At O’Lydia’s Bar and Grill in Milwaukee, both Badger and Irish fans gathered to watch the game. Though it was a tense game, the rivalry stayed friendly.

Badger fans say they’re proud of the team but wish they’d seized more opportunities tonight.

 “I thought they were gonna win it but then when they threw it away, you know you just can’t catch a break,” said fan Dennis Kaminski. “You know, they just didn’t execute down the end.”

Other fans agreed, though both teams shot poorly, the Badgers just didn’t play well enough to advance.
