BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police have now released surveillance video and a sketch of the suspect who police say slipped away after a standoff at an ALDI store.
Authorities put the area near Bluemound Road and Janacek on lockdown for hours on Saturday after an armed robbery at an ALDI store. Officers say they could see the suspect with a gun who appeared to be directing two employees. Those employees managed to escape and police found a customer hiding inside the store.
Investigators say the suspect is a black man who was wearing a baseball cap with a sticker on it, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a bandana covering his face.
Police believe he may be related to robberies at other ALDI stores. No one was hurt.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Town of Brookfield Police Department.
