MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An argument ended in shots fired and two injured on Milwaukee's south side early Friday morning.
According to Milwaukee Police, officers were dispatched for reports of a double shooting near S. 15th St. and W. Mitchell St. around 12:30 a.m.
The initial investigation revealed that two individuals were arguing for an unknown reason. During the argument, the suspect retrieved a firearm and fired multiple shots towards several people.
Two men, a 53-year-old and 37-year-old, were shot during the incident and received serious injuries. Both men were sent to a local hospital for treatment.
After the gunfire, the suspect ran away.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
