An Exceptional Chorus received community support Friday at a special fundraising concert at St. Thomas Moore High School.
The choir is made up of adults with varying abilities and cognitive impairment.
They all have a love of music in common and rehearse weekly.
They are also hitting the road and will be performing this summer to get the word out about acceptance and celebration.
One of their biggest supporters in Dennis "Mongoose" Morris, the cruiser weight boxer and title holder who believes in community outreach as he gains more attention in the boxing world.
The choir performed a medley of tunes from Broadway to the Beatles.
