Aldi in Greenfield robbed

Greenfield Police have two subjects in custody for questioning about an armed robbery of an Aldi store Monday night.  Around 8:25 PM, a suspect described as a black male with slim build in his late 20s entered the store at S 46th Street and W Layton Avenue and demanded money.  The robber was armed with a silver hand gun.   According to the Police, after getting several hundred dollars in cash the robber fled the store on foot.   No one was injured in the robbery.  The Greenfield Police have been able to recover some of the stolen money.   While at this time it is believe only one person committed the robbery, the Police are questioning two individuals about the incident.
