A Fun Scavenger Hunt Begins For Scrooges

Starting today some Milwaukee landmarks will be sporting top hats.

The hats are part of a scavenger hunt to celebrate Scrooge in The Rep's new adaptation of A Christmas Carol.

For the first time in 15 years the play will have new costumes, new music, and a new set that The Rep says is the biggest and most elaborate they have ever created.

Even Scrooge is new! Jonathan Wainwright, who's played Mr. Cratchit in the past, will play Scrooge for the first time.

If you want to be a part of the Scrooged Scavenger Hunt, check out the clues on The Rep's Facebook page here. Then find the Milwaukee landmark statue wearing the top hat that day, take of picture with it, and post it on social media using the hashtag #ScroogedStatue between 10 AM and 1 PM for a chance to win two tickets to A Christmas Carol.
