A fiery, hot Memorial Day will give way to cooler weather this week

Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Hot as a July firecracker. That was the case yesterday when Milwaukee hit a record high of 95.  It'll be the same scenario but perhaps a bit cooler, especially lakeside.  The old record for the Brew City is 93 set back in 1991.  I think we'll be just below that number this afternoon before winds turn to the east and start to cool us off considerably.

Another big factor will be what happens later on Wednesday with moisture creeping up from the south.  This will be the remnants of Alberto currently affecting the Gulf Coast region.  Watch the wind and rain increase by Wednesday evening.  Some of us could see several inches of rain as well. The particular computer model as the storm literally over Lake Michigan around dinner time Wednesday.

Stay tuned to the CBS58 Ready Weather Center for further updates.
