$750,000 donation from Kohl's expands Hunger Task Force MyPlate program

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Hunger Task Force is getting a big donation.

Kohl’s is donating $750,000 to expand the Hunger Task Force’s MyPlate initiative.

The money will be used to buy 375,000 pounds of food like milk, brown rice, and peanut butter.

The MyPlate program encourages people to donate healthy foods. Right now, the program is in six Hunger Task Force food pantries and there are plans to expand it to 18 more.
