75-year-old man shot on Milwaukee's northwest side

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police say someone walked up to a 75-year-old man, shot him, then ran away.
The shooting happened around 5:30 Thursday morning near Appleton and Hampton on Milwaukee's northwest side.
The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
There is no word on who shot him or why.
