48-year-old Milwaukee man fatally shot near 60th and Silver Spring

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 48-year-old Milwaukee man was fatally shot near 60th and Silver Spring around 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9. 

According to Milwaukee police, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation and no suspects have been arrested. 

Milwaukee police are also investigating a separate shooting that occurred around 9 p.m. on Sunday. A 25-year-old Milwaukee man presented at a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Officials say the location of the incident, as well as the circumstances leading up to the shooting, are under investigation. No suspects have been arrested.
