42-Year-old woman killed in Village of Newburg

NEWBURG -- A 42-year-old woman from the Village of Newburg was killed in an early morning crash on Hwy. 33 in the Town of Trenton.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says a 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was driving east on Hwy. 33 when her vehicle entered a curve. The Milwaukee woman crossed the center line in the road as she negotiated the curve and hit a vehicle operated by a 42-year-old Newburg woman. 

The 42-year-old Newburg woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. the 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was transported to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life with serious injuries.

Hwy. 33 was closed to traffic for approximately 4.5 hours as a result of this accident.
