22-year-old man dies from injuries sustained in skateboarding accident in Walworth County

WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 22-year-old Pell Lake man has died from injuries sustained in a skateboarding accident.

The Bloomfield Police Department was called to the intersection of Clover Road and Lakeshore Drive in Pell Lake on Saturday afternoon for a report of a man injured in a skateboarding accident.

The man was taken by Flight for Life to a local hospital for treatment of significant facial and head trauma from the accident.

The victim died from his injuries on Tuesday.

He has been identified as Bryan Mengarelli. 

The investigation revealed that Brian had ridden a skateboard on Clover Road southbound down a hill from the area of Lake Geneva Hwy. He was reported to have lost control, falling off the skateboard and onto the asphalt.

No other vehicles or pedestrians contributed to this tragic accident.
