17-year-old male shot and killed on city's northwest side

Milwaukee Police say a 17-year-old male was killed in an afternoon shooting near N. 68th St. and W. Hope Ave. (near Capitol Dr.). The shooting occurred around 3:00 p.m. and the teen died shortly thereafter at a hospital.
The Milwaukee Fire Department transported the teen to Froedtert Hospital, but he did not survive his injuries.
