14-Year-Old Taken into Custody after Car Chase in Racine County

On Tuesday, April 12 at 7:42 AM, the Oak Creek Police Department received a report of an agitated student in the parking lot of Oak Creek East Middle, according to a release from Oak Creek PD. Officers responded to the school, determined that no other students were present and received information that the 14-year-old student had left.

Moments later, officers located the student driving a vehicle in Racine County and pursued the vehicle. The 14-year-old was taken into custody after a minor property damage accident.

The Oak Creek Police Department referred the incident to Milwaukee County Children's Court for criminal charges.
