1 dead, 1 seriously injured in Oak Creek crash involving motorcycle and SUV

OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Speed is believed to be a factor in a crash that killed one and seriously injured another.

It happened around 9:45 p.m., Sunday Aug. 29. near 13th St. and Elm Rd. in Oak Creek.

According to Oak Creek police, a motorcycle struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) and both caught fire. 

A 31-year-old man was taken to Froedtert Hospital with serious injuries and another person died on the scene.

The Oak Creek Police Department is still investigating the crash and working to notify the victims family before releasing additional details.
