The body of Marine Lance Corporal Jeremiah Collins comes home to Milwaukee today.  The Milwaukee native died in Afghanistan and his body will be taken from the 128th Refueling Wing to Krause Funeral Home today with honor guards at teh airport and at the funeral home.

A bizarre accident in Wauwatosa remains under investigation this morning.  A minivan slammed into a truck that was hauling a giant beam last night.  The van got wedged beneath the beam and the driver had to be rescued.  Watertown Plank Road was closed after the crash, but the lanes are open again this morning.    

The United States government faces a midnight deadline today.  If there is no agreement in Congress to raise the federal debt ceiling, the U.S. will lose its ability to borrow money.  Talks aimed at forging a deal in the House fizzled Tuesday.
