MEQUON -- Firefighters from several municipalities were called out to a barn fire in Mequon early Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out in the 11800 block of Farmdale Road around 6 a.m.

It is unknown how many animals were inside the barn at the time of the fire, but we do know the owner and neighbors were able to get them all out, unharmed, before firefighters arrived.
