MILWAUKEE -- Whether you're a wine connoisseur or you just like a glass of bubbly from time to time, the Milwaukee Wine Festival has something for everyone.

"This annual event brings together food and wine lovers for a festival featuring prestigious wineries and breweries, notable chefs and excellent entertainment," said the event organizer Scott Janess of inPLAY EVENTS. "It is not only a great opportunity for the wine connoisseur to discover this year's finest new and exciting blends, but it's also the perfect place for newcomers to the world of wine to learn the basics from experts in a fun, relaxed setting."

Nearly 300 wines will be on hand on the Milwaukee Art Museum grounds for people to taste.

For the first time this year, there is also a craft beer tasting area with 100 plus different brews.

The festival will take place Friday, August 12 from 4 - 10 p.m. and Saturday, August 13 from 3 - 9 p.m.

Adult Wine Tasting Tickets are $27 in advance and $35 at the gate. This ticket price includes festival admission, a souvenir wine glass, 10 tasting tickets, a festival program, access to food and wine demonstrations and musical entertainment.

Adult Craft Beer Tasting Tickets are $27 in advance and $35 at the gate. Both craft beer and wine tasting tickets are available for $43 in advance and $50 at the door.

Designated Driver tickets are $10 in advance or at the gate. This ticket includes two non-alcoholic drinks, a festival program, food and wine seminars, access to cooking demonstrations, musical entertainment and a souvenir wine glass upon departure. Attendees under 21 are admitted for free when accompanied by a paid adult.
