Woman wounded while in a car

MILWAUKEE - A woman is recovering after being shot on the city's north side on Monday Night.

It happened just before 9 PM near 47th and Hadley.

Officials say the 59 year old victim was sitting in a car when she was shot in the chest.

She was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
