Take advantage of tax breaks when it comes to paying for college.

According to Money Magazine, about 20-percent of people who are eligible for higher education tax relief don't claim it.

Some of the tax breaks can be huge.  For example, the American Opportunity Tax Credit, which is new this year, is good for $2,500 each year for the first four years of college.

Enroll and you could save up to $208 a month, or $2,496 a year.
