Governor talks health care with President
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Gov. Jim Doyle says he talked with President Barack Obama about the economy and how federal health care reform will affect Wisconsin during a private meeting in the White House on Thursday.

Doyle says Wisconsin's governor's race came up, but the discussion was nothing different than how it's talked in general among people interested in it.

Doyle also said they did not talk about his future after he leaves the governor's office.

Doyle is not seeking a third term next year and has repeatedly said he intends to serve the remainder of his time in office.

He says that has been made clear to Obama and his administration has not offered him any positions or talked about it.
