Vaccines stolen
Arrest made in theft of truck containing swine flu vaccines
A 38-year old man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a truck containing hundreds of doses of the swine flu vaccine.
Police have not released the man's name, but say he does have a criminal record.
The man and two others are accused of taking the truck which was left running unattended Thursday night outside Sarah Scott Middle School. A vaccination clinic had just wrapped up at the school before the truck was stolen.
Officers soon found the truck abandoned with 900 vaccines still inside, but say all of those vaccines are now compromised, and can not be distributed.
The suspect was arrested outside a liquor store near 12th and Vine. Police are still looking for the other two suspects.
