Candle blamed for causing fire

CBS 58 was there during an animal rescue in Cudahy Monday night.

Fire crews stormed a home on East Hammond near Packard, fearing someone was sleeping inside.

Two pugs in the basement were pulled from the home.

The fire did about $30,000 in damage. Investigators say the fire started from an unattended candle.
