MILWAUKEE-Police say a home near 35th & Becher has been a haven for gang activity for years.

 

But residents were scared to come forward and give authorities what they needed to shut the place down until now.

 

After months of investigation, city officials finally got the proof and declared the property a public nuisance.

 

On Monday, they began boarding up the windows and doors as thankful neighbors looked on.
