Southwest Airlines lands in Milwaukee
The airline celebrated its first flight from Milwaukee and people celebrate lower airfare.
Milwaukee air travelers can now fly in and out of General Mitchell Airport with Southwest Airlines.
Today, the Nation's leading discount airline celebrated its first flight out of Milwaukee with a tailgate party on the lakefront.
The presence of the Dallas-based airline will increase the competition among other carriers.
The arrival of Southwest Airlines also means lower fares for Milwaukee air travelers, allowing them to enjoy 12 daily, nonstop flights to Baltimore, Orlando, Tampa, Kansas City, Phoenix, and Las Vegas.
