WALWORTH-Classes have been canceled at Walworth Elementary and Middle Schools until next Monday.
Administrators report staff and students out sick with flu like illnesses.
On Monday, 170 kids were out in a total school population of 560.
The two schools are contained in the same building.
To date, there are five confirmed cases of the swine flu.
The decision to close was made along with officials with the Walworth County Health Department.
The missed days of class will be excused and will not have to be made up by extending the school year.
Also, Canterbury Elementary School in Greendale is shut down for the next three days, because of the Swine Flu.
On Monday, 40 percent of students were absent and experiencing H1N1-like symptoms of fever, cough and sore throat.
During the school shutdown all other school related activities before and after school have been canceled.
