One dies, another gets frostbite
Milwaukee police say one dog has died and another has frostbite after being left out in the cold.
Police found the dead dog at 1:30 Thursday morning in the doorway of a garage at N. 58th Street and W. Fairmont Ave. They say the dog had apparently frozen to death. While investigating, officers found another dog inside the garage that appeared to need help. They took that dog to the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control for help.
Police say the dogs' owner says he put the dogs in the garage because he wanted them out of the house. The 23 year-old man was arrested on animal cruelty charges.
