WAUKESHA-Hundreds of college athletes are vying for the title of Table Tennis Champion.
Some call it ping pong and that's a touchy subject for organizers who implored the media who showed up for a photo op Friday not to call it ping pong.
With speeds of 70 miles per hour, the sport is a little more than a basement pastime, according to organizers.
The National Collegiate Table Tennis Championships is hosting 250 athletes from more than 30 Universities nationwide.
Competition continues until 10 p.m. Friday and up until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
