MILWAUKEE-He not only confessed to friends but to an arresting officer.

 

That was the testimony Tuesday in the 1st degree murder trial of Benjamin Germano.

 

The Wauwatosa man was arrested after days on the run.

 

His ex-girlfriend's body was found in a West Allis industrial yard last month.

 

The 24 year old was also the mother of their young daughter.

 

A detective took the stand during the preliminary hearing and went into chilling detail about German's account of how he murdered Sara Rosio and what he did with her body in the days that followed.

 

The story includes hiding the woman's body in an air mattress and then driving around with the remains in the trunk of his car for days.
