Three bridges to be replaced
New details on the major emergency construction to replace bridges on the Zoo Interchange.
The Department of Transportation says three bridges in all on the interchange are falling apart and need to be replaced. They include, I-895 to North Hwy 45, I-894 to West I-94, and Hwy 45 to East 94.
To help minimize strain to the bridges the DOT has put up some weight limit restriction signs.
Work is expected to be finished before Memorial Day.
