Common Council to decide on police furloughs
MILWAUKEE - The Common Council will vote Friday on whether to uphold Mayor Tom Barrett's only veto in the city budget.
The mayor wants to reduce police furloughs from 4 to 2 days.
That's one more day than the common council wanted for sworn officers.
Mayor Barrett says the veto would save the city 675-Thousand dollars.
