Keith Meka


Keith was born and raised in Milwaukee where he attended St. Matthias Grade School, Pius XI High School and UW-Milwaukee. A few college instructors at UWM encouraged him to try television news, and it worked out!

Keith's on-air career began in Rockford, IL. where he was an Anchor/Reporter/Photographer for both news and sports at WREX-TV. From there he was a Reporter/Anchor/Bureau Chief for WFRV-TV in Green Bay. After Green Bay, it was off to Florida to be a Reporter/Fill-In Anchor for WTOG-TV in Tampa - St. Petersburg. Over the years, he's won several Associated Press Awards in various categories for his news reporting.

While in Florida , Keith made sure to return home to Emcee, with Olympic Gold Medalist Bonnie Blair, the Annual Strain for the Brain Walk and Run Fundraiser in West Allis.

In his spare time, Keith is very active in sports. He plays basketball, football and golf. He also enjoys spending time with his family, especially now that he's back in his hometown.
