Milwaukee Children's Choir
MILWAUKEE-Milwaukee Children's Choir is Southeastern Wisconsin's premiere professional children's choir, know for exceptional choral music programs, and for giving choristers performance experiences they can't get anywhere else locally.
CBS 58 News cameras were allowed exclusive access to the rehearsals and the methodology for taking singers as young as 4 with no experience and nervousness and nurturing them through the discipline of choral teachings and performance. Tuition aid is available so no child is turned away because of money. The choir consists of grades K4 through 12 from more than 140 schools. Participation is encouraged from all backgrounds, races and religions. |
