International Learning Center
MILWAUKEE -- In the basement of the Central United Methodist Church off 25th Street in Milwaukee is a world most didn't even know existed, consisting of people, who these days, are proud to call you their neighbor.
Since the late 70's the International Learning Center has been the go-to place for refugee's seeking a better life in America. Although it has a global representation, the ILC serves mostly Asian and African immigrants who, in many cases, escaped their native country because of war. CBS 58's Eric Rucker introduces to a few of them, and shows us how the ILC is Making Milwaukee Great |
