This week’s “Eye” focused on a new data center that recently opened in Milwaukee. The $33-million facility at 31st & Highland will provide storage for a number of businesses in the area. It will also serve to attract new companies to Milwaukee, which has become an emerging data hub. The data center is the Potawatomi tribe’s largest non-gaming investment in Wisconsin. It’s located on ancestral tribal land and adds to previous neighborhood development projects.

Zoo Director, Chuck Wikenhauser also stopped by to share with is the events and exhibits on tap at once of the state’s most popular attractions. We talked about the recently opened Sting Ray and Shark Exhibit, the Jaguar cubs, new giraffe, and penguin exhibits. Highlighted as well were the many opportunities to receive free or discounted zoo admission. Mr. Wikenhauser explained how, despite tight budgets, the zoo has been able to maintain and improve the experience for visitors.
