Delavan-Delavan Lake Area – For the 11th year in a row, the Delavan-Delavan Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and CSI Media will sponsor “The Cars That Time Forgot”. This unique car show will take place on Sunday, July 13th from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Lake Lawn Resort on beautiful Delavan Lake.

Several area car clubs plus numerous individuals will participate in the public showing of their vehicles. Last year’s show drew over 800 oldies but goodies including a variety of muscle cars, hot rods and classics. More vehicles are expected to be on display this year. This year’s highlights include two feature cars: Blue Max and Mach IV Mustang, this may very well be the last show they attend in this area.

There will be a meet and greet on the bricks in downtown historic Delavan on Friday night, July 11. Downtown businesses will be open with special sales and entertainment. There will be free shuttles from 5:00 – 7:00 pm to the downtown from Super 8, Comfort Suites and Lake Lawn Resort. A special concert at the Phoenix Park Band shell, featuring Beatolution will begin at 7 pm.
On Saturday, July 12 there will be Gimmick Rally beginning at 11:00 and lakeside Saturday night BBQ at Lake Lawn featuring the drivers of the feature cars and entertainment.
The “Cars Time Forgot” car show is July 13, 2014. The public is invited to attend and parties interested in showcasing their vehicles are welcome. The first 400 vehicles registered will receive dash plaques. The cost for registration and to show your vehicle is $10.00 in advance and $15 at the show.
Food Pantry donations are encouraged but the admission for the general public to view the show is free. Parking at the Lake Lawn airport is $5.00 per car. There will be free shuttles from the downtown, Super 8 and Comfort Suites to the show on Sunday.
