Event Description

oin this popular Wisconsin quilting teacher for a day of techniques and fun! Chris’s award-winning quilts have been displayed throughout the world, including AQS Shows, IQA Festival in Houston, Quilt Expo Europa, and the World Quilt & Textile Show in Christchurch, New Zealand. Having had no formal art training, Chris understands the delightful discovery of creative talent. She teaches quilting and design at Wisconsin’s Waukesha County Technical College. She also teaches for guilds, shops and shows throughout the United States, including AQS shows, Quilt Festivals in Houston and Vermont, and the Minnesota Quilter’s Show. This is a free motion quilting class with a twist for the machine quilter who has been honing her free motion skills. By combining our imaginations with contrasting threads, wonderful borders and illusions will take ordinary quilts to a new level of excitement!
