Bestselling author, Bill McKibben recounts the personal and global story of the fight to build and preserve a sustainable planet. His new book, "Oil and Honey, The Education of an Unlikely Activist", is being released on Sept. 17, 2013.
Books & Company of Oconomowoc presents Mr. McKibben on Oct. 9 at the Oconomowoc Arts Center.

Bill McKibben is the author of more than a dozen books, including The
End of Nature, Earth, and Deep Economy. He is the founder of the
environmental organization and was among the first to warn of the dangers of climate change. He is the Schumann Distinguished Scholar at Middlebury College and the 2013 winner of the Gandhi Prize.
