Event Description

Indian Summer Festival Returns to the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee to celebrate our 27th year as the largest Native festival of its kind in the country!

2013 FESTIVAL HOURS
FRIDAY, SEPT 6
9am - 2:30pm: Area Schools - Education Day
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm: Free Entry WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES donation. Please enter at the Mid-Gate.
4:00 pm - Midnight: General Public
FREE ENTRY for all disabled and their caregiver (one).

SATURDAY, SEPT 7
Noon - Midnight

SUNDAY, SEPT 8
9:30 am - 10 am: Mid-Gate Open
10:00: *MASS to Celebrate Saint Kateri Tekakwitha / Prayer Ceremony Free Entry at the South Gate for anyone attending the prayer ceremony AND donate non-perishable food items for the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee.
11:00 am - 8:00 pm: General public
FREE ENTRY ALL DAY SUNDAY TO MILITARY PERSONNEL, VETERANS, & FIRST RESPONDERS WITH ID. PLEASE ENTER AT THE MAIN GATE.

* The mass is to honor Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, a Mohawk Native American woman who was canonized in October 2012.
