As the weather starts to warm up, all of Greater Milwaukee is anxious to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. Families and friends gather together to enjoy the outdoors, travel on vacation and spend time on the water – boating, fishing, sailing, and more. It’s important to remember the safety precautions to take during all of these recreational water activities.

On Wednesday, May 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center (MCSC) will host a Safety Night, which will feature boater’s safety information, as well as medical instruction with the U.S. Coast Guard, DNR and U.S. Power Squadron.

Safety Night is open to the community and does not require a reservation. For more information, contact MCSC at 414-277-9094.
