Event Description

Lake Lawn Resort along with The Geneva Lake Art Association is excited to present the first annual Lake Lawn Arts Festival benefiting The Boys & Girls Club of Walworth County the weekend of July 20, 2013. With a “meet the artists” barbeque, hands-on workshops and lively musical entertainment, this is an art festival Lake Lawn Resort is thrilled to add to their rich history of traditions.

Welcoming a new tradition to an already rich history
On Saturday and Sunday, July 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Lake Lawn will be transformed into an outdoor art gallery bursting with creativity and summer fun. As if the picturesque setting isn’t remarkable enough, one hundred artists will be manning booths featuring a variety of mediums including water color paintings, photography, sculpture, furniture, pottery and much more.

A “Meet the Artists” barbeque with live musical entertainment will kick off the weekend on Friday, July 19. Workshops will be offered throughout the week along with children’s entertainment, an art tent and live musical entertainment featuring a variety of performers. Food stands featuring barbeque favorites will also be spread throughout the resort for guests to enjoy during the event. Visitors and guests can also take advantage of the Lake Lawn’s water sport rentals, swimming, kayaking, miniature golf, volleyball and more.

The Festival will be held in the center courtyard of the resort showcasing the beauty of Lake Delavan and one-of-a-kind setting that Lake Lawn Resort calls home. Lake Lawn harbors a unique history unlike any other and is pleased to add the Arts Festival on to its growing list this summer.
