Tuition: $80
Ages: 16+

This six week class will concentrate on the fundamentals of landscape painting while exploring the beauty of the southern Kettle Moraine. Learn outdoor painting techniques required in capturing the shifting light and color of the outdoors. Working in small to mid-size format, paint several field studies with a focus on composition, value, color, and cohesion of the major masses. A portion of the instruction will take place in the studio with an emphasis on refining field studies or developing a larger work. This class is for students with current painting experience, but familiarity with outdoor painting is not a requirement. Instructor demonstrates in oil. Supplies are not included; supply list given at the time of registration.
